What is Charism?
By definition, the word charism or charisma (from Gr. χάρισμα) denotes a gift freely and graciously given, a favor bestowed, a grace.
A spiritual charism is most simply, a spiritual gift; or in the case of Bishop Blanchet, a collection of spiritual gifts, bestowed upon our community through the Holy Spirit, a guide to direct the ways we respond to God’s Grace and invitations. These gifts “fan into flame" - for us to live out the Gospel in relation to the world and context around us.
Under the direction of our Board of Directors, the Spiritual Charism Advisory Committee was formed with the charge of helping the Bishop Blanchet community discern and articulate our unique spiritual charism and more fully integrate it into the life, mission, and actions of our school.
One of the most important ways we do this is by offering opportunities for members of our community to provide their input...and we will listen.

Our first opportunity for parents, guardians, alumni and friends of BBHS to participate will be on Tuesday, December 5 in the Norcliffe Student Commons from 6:30-7:45 p.m. Light refreshments will be available. Space is limited.
